With the Acumen Clinic Reconditioning Program, we strive to close the gaps between early diagnosis and integrating proper exercise to improve patient outcomes. Strength training is important and usually relevant to many clinical populations. We believe musculoskeletal reconditioning is an integral part of the Acumen Clinic experience. Many patients must navigate back to a demanding job (Farming, construction, landscaping) while some need to get back to a competitive sport they love. Others would like to return to their healthy, active lifestyle (Traveling, biking, kayaking, skiing, hiking, etc) or simply want to find a way to live a pain-free life. We are here to help find that path.

At Acumen Reconditioning, Athletic Therapy is about early diagnosis, education on the structures involved, patient specific exercise plans and ongoing support until the end goals are achieved.

It is about empowering the patient to understand their injury and take control of their outcomes. Effective manual therapy is incorporated to create the optimal healing environment. Picking the appropriate exercises that are effective in the patient’s current stage of healing and at the same time, engaging to the individual. Instruction is provided on exercise technique and muscle recruitment to fully benefit from each exercise performed. Ongoing re-evaluation with timely exercise progressions are key to encourage the patient to move forward. Patients are given detailed home exercise programs.

We are big believers in collaboration of treatment and will work with other health care professionals to help you meet your goals. We will strive to get you back to living your life, enjoying activities you love and/or competing in your sport. We try to not only get you back to where you were before but feeling renewed with motivation to achieve more.

Let's connect!

I give my patients one-on-one time, listen thoroughly to their history, get to the root of the injury and provide a thorough assessment to set-up a clear path to recovery. Education is provided on the anatomy and tissue healing process so that patients become an expert on their own injury. Through treatment and exercise, I strive to get my patients beyond the healing of the injury, to a full confident return to their sports and/or activities!
